Early life
Apostle Vincent L. Greaves Sr., whose proud parents are Mother Rose Greaves and the late Deacon Victor Leo Greaves Sr., was raised in Brooklyn, New York. He faithfully attended the Redemption Church of Christ Bible Way under the pastorship of the late Bishop Arthur Lee Pearson. Through the grace of God, he was baptized in Jesus’ Name at the age of 15 and received the gift of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in a heavenly language at 20 years of age.

The Lord called him into the ministry under the leadership of the late Bishop Delric Pollins.

July 1990
The late Bishop Carey Robinson licensed him in the Bible Way Worldwide, Inc. organization.

January 1992
Minister Greaves founded the United Power & Praise Crusade, Inc. Many souls were filled with the gift of the Holy Ghost, and many were baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of their sins.

June 1994
Ordained to the office of Elder during the 37th Holy Convocation of the Bible Way Churches worldwide. Apostle Huie L. Rogers was the Presiding Bishop.

July 2, 1995
Elder Greaves became the proud Pastor of the Good Samaritan Prayer Room Church, Inc. He continued to work with the Bible Way Churches worldwide as the New York State Youth President.

July 2005
Under the leadership of the late Lawrence G. Campbell, Chief Apostle and Presiding Bishop of Bible Way Worldwide, and by the approval of the Joint Board of Bishops, Bishop Greaves Sr. was appointed a District Bishop in the Empire State Diocese of New York, under the late Bishop Carey Robinson, Diocesan Bishop.

At the Bible Way 49th Holy Convocation, Bishop Greaves Sr. was made the Episcopal Diocesan of the United New York Diocese, now known as the Northeast Regional Diocese.

Elected Assistant General Secretary of the International Bible Way Church of Jesus Christ.

Elected by the Joint Board of Bishops to the Executive Board of Bishops, and appointed by Chief Apostle and Presiding Bishop Nelson to the office of General Secretary of the International Bible Way Church of Jesus Christ, Inc.

Made interim Pastor of the Christ Community Church of the Apostolic Faith, Inc. in Peekskill, New York. Installed as Senior Pastor on Saturday, November 19, 2016.

Apostle Greaves has been married to Pastor (Lady) Patricia H. Greaves for over twenty-five years. The Lord has blessed Apostle and Lady Greaves with wonderfully anointed children: Darlene (Greaves) Joseph, Samantha Hall, Stephen Hall, Samanda Morrow, Danaisa Greaves, Malisia Gentile, and Vincent L. Greaves Jr. It is today that Apostle and Lady Greaves stand together in ministry on the Word of God.
